TAS Future Business workshop

FGT & APAL will be hosting a combined Future Business workshop at Willie Smiths Apple Shed in Grove on Tuesday 25 February 2020.

The first part of the workshop will help producers explore local, national and international apple production and export trends. Following this, the workshop will discuss opportunities to tackle rising insurance premium costs. Guest speakers presenting on the day include:

• Wayne Prowse from Fresh Intelligence Consulting, who will take growers through the local, national and international trends in apple production and export. trends.
• Richelle Zealley (APAL), who will update attendees on the Discretionary Mutual Fund.
• Justin Niven and Tom Patterson (KJ Risk Group), who will outline collective brokerage opportunities for Tasmanian fruit producers to reduce rising insurance premiums.

Ticket prices are $20+GST/person, which includes lunch + tea & coffee.
