Trade

Fruit Growers Tasmania in conjunction with government and industry stakeholders developed the Tasmania's horticultural exports and domestic trade hub to support aspiring and existing fruit, nut and vegetable producers to explore export opportunities, develop export trade connections and make businesses ‘trade-ready’.  The project ran from 2019–2022. Part of the project was to develop a website which promotes the horticultural products that Tasmania produces for national and international markets. This is the TASMANIANGROWN.AU website.

The four key areas of ongoing support for the Tasmanian fruit industry are:

  • Market Requirements

    Market Requirements

Support for growers with export training, navigating export compliance requirements, exploring key markets of interest.

  • Trade Information

    Trade Information

These activities provide growers and exports with information on commodity and market trends to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Marketing & Promotion

    Marketing & Promotion

These activities help growers develop contacts and linkages with buyers and importers in priority markets.
