APAL Short Course in Fruit Production

APAL’s 5-day, intensive Short Course in Fruit Production aims to equip current and emerging fruit growers and orchard managers with a technical skillset covering a range of topics. With a scientific basis, the content presented in this course is intended to give participants an understanding of the underlying processes in the orchard to enable them to improve their on-farm capability around decision-making and orchard design, and their horticultural understanding.
This course is aimed at current and emerging leaders in the Australian apple and pear industry. In this first year, consideration will be given to the inclusion of older participants on a case-by-case basis.
The 5-day course will cover a range of topics affecting apple and pear production, delivered by both Australian and international experts.
