Where: Fruit Growers Tasmania, 67 Letitia Street, North Hobart or online
Join Fruit Growers Tasmania for an afternoon information session to explore how benchmarking can help apple and cherry growers make more informed decisions, improve productivity and strengthen profitability.
The Fruit Grower Profitability Information Session will be held at the Fruit Growers Tasmania Office, 67 Letitia Street, North Hobart on Wednesday 29 July at 2pm, followed by networking drinks.
The session will provide an overview of the Fruit Grower Profitability Program, including insights and lessons learned from the first group of participating growers.
This program is free for participants and is delivered by Fruit Growers Tasmania and AgFirst, with support from the Tasmanian Government.
Attendees will hear from Sarah McArley of AgFirst about the challenges currently facing apple and cherry businesses, what benchmarking involves, how data is collected and used and how growers can use benchmarking results to identify opportunities for improvement.
We'll also hear from a special guest speaker who will challenge growers to think differently about productivity, business performance and the future of orchard businesses.
Whether you're interested in joining the next round of the program or simply want to learn more about how benchmarking can support your business, this session is a great opportunity to ask questions, connect with fellow growers and explore practical ways to improve business performance.
