Fruit Growers Tasmania Industry Awards 2025

The Fruit Growers Tasmania Industry Awards recognise the outstanding contributions of those who help shape our industry in Tasmania.

The Awards acknowledge the outstanding achievements of established and emerging growers, and those who have played an important role within our industry.

The winners of the Fruit Growers Tasmania Industry Awards 2025 are as follows:

Roll of Honour / Lifetime Achievement Award - Carl Hansen, Hansen Orchards.
Award for Excellence - Andrew Smith, R&R Smith and Willie Smith Cider.
Young Grower of the Year - Uchitha Godahenges (Bhashi), Costa.

The Award recipients were announced at the Industry Gala Awards Dinner on Thursday 12 June, as part of the 33rd Fruit Industry Conference on 12 - 13 June at Wrest Point Hotel in Hobart.

Congratulations to our Tasmanian fruit industry award winners for 2025, whose hard work and dedication to the industry was recognised and celebrated.
