Blueberry Growers Field Day
Fruit Growers Tasmania and Berries Australia are holding a Blueberry Growers Field Day at Griggs Bros, Castle Forbes Bay on Thursday 18 April from 10am to 2.30pm.
Come along to hear the latest in blueberry pest and disease control, nutrition management and other important issues facing Tasmanian blueberry growers.
The day will include a field walk at Griggs Bros orchard.
As this event is on farm please wear clean clothing and footwear for biosecurity best practice.
Blueberry Industry Support Program
The Tasmanian Blueberry Industry Support Program was a discretionary grants program to support blueberry producers in adopting practices that prevent and/or control blueberry rust.
Funded by the Tasmanian Government and administered by Fruit Growers Tasmania, the program provided financial support to businesses to implement practices, technologies and systems which the applicant identifies as helping them protect their business from blueberry rust.
Applications have now closed for this program.
