Cherry industry day

Where: Somercotes, Mona Vale Rd, Ross

FGT will be hosting a cherry industry day on Thursday, 19 September 2019. Hosted at historic Somercotes in Ross, the event includes a guided orchard walk, demonstrations of steam-weeding and sprayer calibration, and updates on TIA's latest cherry research activities and findings. The day will also feature a Q&A discussion about on-farm biosecurity and discuss chemical options for pest control, chemical rotation for resistance management, and restrictions on agrichemical use for international markets.
